Robert "Bob" Scarlata is a highly experienced M&A Dealmaker with over 35 years of expertise. Bob's secret to success lies in his ability to set realistic expectations, leverage his understanding of the tax code to maximize after-tax profits, intuitively comprehend the motivations of both buyers and sellers and assemble a team of top-notch M&A practitioners. Bob graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Business and earned his J.D. from the University of Miami. Bob’s entrepreneurial start was in college as the founder and 100% shareholder of a company that rented mini-fridges to thirsty college students. After college, he had a successful career in machinery sales before moving into M&A and ultimately founding WhiteHorse Partners. Since 1986, Bob has closed many multi-million-dollar transactions across a wide range of industries in the U.S. and Canada.

As a Certified Business Exit Consultant, Bob possesses extensive experience in exit planning, with nearly 40 years of documented expertise. Additionally, he holds licenses as a Series 63 & 70 securities broker. Bob and his team are well-prepared to provide comprehensive M&A guidance to both you and your clients.
